How do I order an instrument?
1. Choose the most suitable instrument for you;
If you are a beginner to music or wish to keep the cost down, the Windcraft /Jupiter / Esprit / Artemis saxophone or clarinet would be the most suitable. These are ideal to learn on but you would need to upgrade to a Yamaha once you start playing with others in band etc as the tuning is better. If you are already playing the clarinet or saxophone or would prefer to learn on an instrument that you would not need to upgrade from, you may wish to consider the Yamaha YAS-275e alto, Yamaha YTS-275ej tenor saxes or Yamaha YCL-250s clarinet. You would not need to upgrade from these for many years (if ever).
2. Choose whether to hire or buy;
Most beginners tend to hire. However, if you can afford to buy it outright, I will include 5 free accessories (choose from: tuition book, Jools Holland tuition DVD, saxophone stand, padded neck strap, music stand and a combined metronome /tuner) and the option to sell it back to me for the price paid less a set amount per month (from £10 per month). I offer this free pack as it saves me processing the monthly payments, the cost of the credit search and I receive the money straight away! If you choose this option, you do not need to complete the rental agreement, simply call me with your card details. I will then provide documentation showing the buyback guarantee. If you prefer, you can hire the instrument for 2 months to see if you like it. You may then either continue to hire it or return in. There is no obligation to buy at any time but if you do, all of the rental paid during the first 6 months would be deducted from the price. You also have the option to upgrade to a Yamaha or change instruments. The rental paid on the original instrument would count towards the purchase price.
3. Collection or delivery options
If you can travel to Reading, Berkshire I will give you a free one hour clarinet or saxophone lesson to help get you started. I am available from 9am - 9pm Monday to Friday and from 9am - 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please call or email to book a convenient time. If you decide to proceed, you can complete the rental agreement after the lesson.
If you are ready to proceed and require home delivery, please print the from my website and return it by post, fax or email (or simply call me with your card details for the outright purchase). I will send a gift voucher for the free one hour lesson which may be used at any time during the hire term.
4. On receipt, I will call you for your credit or debit card details and to discuss delivery day and address;
5 I will then book the delivery and e-mail you the DHL consignment number which enables you to track your parcel on line or by phone;
6. I will then check the DHL website to ensure that it arrived on the specified day and and will contact you to confirm that you are completely happy with my service.
I am available from 9am - 9pm 7 days a week if you need to discuss your order at any time.
