These are ideal for both children and adult beginners as they have an adjustable thumb rest and are made of ABS resin which is lighter than wood.  The b flat Boehm system clarinet is the clarinet all teachers recommend for beginners. 

The clarinet comes with everything you need to get started:- Quality mouthpiece with two quality Vandoren or Rico  1.5 strength reeds (ideal for beginners or others of your choice), "pull through" cleaner, carry case, cork grease and mouthpiece pad.  I have discounted the Yamaha YCL-250, Buffet B12 and Trevor James from £19 to £15 per month for parents hiring the instrument for a child under 18 years old having regular lessons
